Founded in 2018, the Housing Affordability Institute is a non-profit seeking to increase housing affordability and protect homeownership by producing industry-leading research on homeownership and the cost drivers behind our growing affordability challenges.

ICC BUILDING SAFETY MONTH

Building Safety Month is an international campaign celebrated in May to raise awareness about building safety. 

All communities need building codes to protect their citizens from disasters like fires, weather-related events and structural collapse. Building codes are society's best way of protecting homes, offices, schools, manufacturing facilities, stores and entertainment venues. Code officials work day in and day out to keep the public safe.

The ICC Upper Great Plains Region III Educational Institute will be held February 4th through February 8th at the Oak Ridge Hotel And Conference Center in Chaska, Minnesota.  Registration is now open.  Hotel rooms are available.

Chris Rose, Deputy Building Official from Fargo, North Dakota, and our Region III was named the Code Official of the Year.
Angie Wiese, PE, CBO, Saint Paul, was appointed to a three-year term on the ICC Board of Directors.
